What UTR do you need for college tennis?

Beyond the number
- Coaches use the Verified UTR, which counts only sanctioned results.
- The ITA made WTN the official rating of college tennis in 2023, so keep an eye on both.
- D1, D2, NAIA and NJCAA programmes can give athletic aid. D3 can't.
- UTR says coaches also weigh work ethic, academics and team fit.

What UTR do you need for D1 tennis?
On UTR's 2019 roster data, D1 men ranged from about 8 to 14 and women from about 5 to 12. Starting lineups sit toward the top of those ranges.
What UTR do you need for D3 tennis?
UTR's current guidance puts most D3 men between 7 and 10 and most D3 women between 4 and 7.
